Workout Motivation

The moment when you want to quit is the moment you need to keep pushing.

Post brain tumor and neck tumor surgery and radiation, it’s been hard to find my  strength.

I’ll get on a roll and then stop, because my body just becomes exhausted and dizzy. This new year I promised my strength back. Before my diagnosis, I was working out 3 times a day / 6 Days a week. Now, I do around 1 workout / 4-5 Days a week.

Fitness and the gym have always been my sanctuary. It was my meditation time and a time for self awareness and growth.

I’m starting to get back on track this year pumping more iron and running. Even throwing little workouts in, like playing basketball at the park with Daisy helps!

I’m not one to take supplements or energy boots, because I’m more of an au natural type person.

One thing I have started doing is homemade shakes and juices!

My favorite recipes are:

Vitamin C

Mandarins

Kale/ spinach

Mango

Strawberries

Coconut milk or orange juice!

Berry protein !

Frozen mixed berries

Frozen mango

Kale/ spinach

Orange

Apple

Vanilla protein (1 scoop)

Coconut milk

These simple shakes have been keeping me on track for a better energized day and workout!

I’ll be posting more workout/health inspired blogs soon!
